PLYMOUTH ARGYLE TREAT FOR THE SANCTUARY!

Sanctuary Managers Helen Lecointe and Debbie Haynes were presented with ten tickets for Plymouth Argyles match at Home Park against Blackpool FC on Saturday 27th March 2010. 

Gill Akaster Solicitors in Plymouth sponsor Plymouth Argyle player Luke Summerfield.  As we are currently Gill Akasters chosen charity, the tickets were donated to the sanctuary.

 Many thanks to all staff at Western Mortgage Services who helped raise £623.80 and a special thanks to Julie Jackson and Kate Mayo who organised the events.

Julie said " We knew the sanctuary was struggling with the volume of unwanted animals that were coming into the sanctuary and we wanted to help.  We started by asking companies for prize donations and held a bake sale, an animal related quiz, a pet photo competition, a raffle and a checkpoint for donations."
