Carson is a lively 11 month old, Olde Tyme Bulldog x Staffi. He is a gorgeous boy who was brought into the sanctuary after becoming too much for the older dog in the home. He can be a bit ‘full on’ with other dogs, and is currently in the process of learning his manners. Carson can not live with cats, and can only live with older children (16 years and above) due to his strength and boisterous nature.
Since being at the sanctuary we have found that Carson needs a lot of mental stimulation and training, without this he becomes bored and seeks attention by becoming mischievous. This training would need to be continued, and we would ask that any new potential owners come to the sanctuary and work with the kennel supervisors over the course of a few weeks. We would like to make sure that everyone is using the same methods and working together to get the best out of Carson. He is already showing improvements within his training and this is definitely paying off.
Carson is looking for a new home with someone who has the patience and time to work him, and give him the training and guidance he requires. He is a young, playful boy who can sometimes get a little bit too excited, but this does not take away from the fact that he has an adorable personality and a willingness to learn. We would ideally like someone who is experienced with Bulldogs and has had previously dealt with training and behavioural issues.
