Two for joy, anyone? Charlie and Rosie are an adorable pair of Shih tzu X’s who we hope will bring lots of happiness into the lives of their new owners.
Charlie and Rosie are lifelong companions who would like to find a home together. They sadly arrived at the sanctuary after their owner passed away and their new carers could not keep them because Charlie didn’t get on with the dog in the home.
Charlie is an 11-year-old Shih tzu X Chihuahua and Rosie a 10-year-old Shih tzu X Jack Russell. They are friendly dogs who walk well on lead and have been around children aged 5+.
Despite his love for Rosie, Charlie isn’t too keen on other dogs and his carers are gradually introducing him to other breeds in the hope that he’ll grow to like them! Rosie is fine with other dogs. They have not been around cats.
Rosie and Charlie love their food, particularly a chicken or salami treat. Charlie does have a grade 2 heart murmur.
