Handsome, intelligent and fun to be around, our beautiful boy Blue is quite the catch! Blue is a very clever dog who is searching for an active home where he can challenge his brain and also burn off some energy.
Blue, a four-year-old Border Collie, is good with other dogs and enjoys having a canine pal to play with. He has also lived with cats before, and chooses to ignore them when out on walks.
Blue’s ideal family would have time to take him on long walks, play ball and challenge him with enrichment activities. In return they will be rewarded with a lovely dog who has so much potential.
Due to a bad experience in a previous home, Blue would prefer to live with older children aged 10-plus. He is housetrained and fine when left.
Blue is easily startled by anything on wheels that moves fast, such as cars and bikes. His carers are currently working hard to reassure Blue and calm this behaviour arounds roads and traffic. This is something his new owners will need to be aware of and put in time to continue this training. Blue will need a secure garden.
